Objective

We train and certify in-house or regional instructors and facilitators, in order for your organisation to fully integrate MBWARE Training Modules into your training programs on an ongoing, long term basis.

Facilitators are trained to confidently lead exercise sessions with the all MBWARE exercises and provide basic practice guidance for individuals, teams, departments or units.

Instructors are specially trained to deliver the entire MBWARE Training module with all detailed instructions on MBWARE exercises. They are trained and experienced to answer questions confidently, and discuss all aspects of the exercises and how they apply within the service environment on duty. They will be familiar with and able to present the science behind the training exercises. And they will be able to instruct participants on the specific benefits of these exercises to their performance on duty and their well-being, and guide participants how to integrate and apply them optimally.

Only those individuals who have received the proper instructor training will receive certification and are authorised to teach MBWARE methodologies and exercises.

Description

This service goes beyond instructor training and certification in order to assure consistent and high quality of all training delivery, and continuous improvement.

Our ongoing support consist of providing an open forum for facilitators and instructors, to address questions that may arise, and offering regular check in and follow up sessions. We also provide continuous learning opportunities and refresher courses and updates. Beyond that, MBWARE provides the necessary materials, both in written and audio formats for instructors and for participants.

Delivery

We collaborate with you to assure that this MBWARE Training Service optimally accomplished its objective for your organisation.

Delivery time and structure, as well as participant selection, will be determined according to participants' prior knowledge of the science and psychology and their experience with applying the practical exercises and techniques.

COURSE DESCRIPTION:

This course enables Peer instructors, to incorporate Mindfitness and mindfulness-based resilience and stress management exercises into their course deliveries foryour organisation, such as R2MR. This TOT course trains and certifies for applying and teaching the methodology that addresses how accumulative, low-level stressors and dealing with traumatic events, inherent in serving in Military Forces, affect physical, emotional and mental wellbeing, health and performance functioning. The methodologies provide knowledge and skillful means on how to manage and release these affects before they lead to long-term stress injuries, thus preventing OSI and PTSD. Specific exercises enable an individual to ‘reset’ after critical incidents, discharge and re-settle a dysregulated nervous system arousal, support healing of old mental wounds and support resilience building, mental strength and situational awareness.

The methodology is based on ancient warrior traditions, mindfulness-based, based on over 30 years of medical and neuroscience research, and is now used in many healthcare, military and police professions.

The TOT will not include:

Basic knowledge, skills, principles or exercises relating to instruction and teaching methods and skills (assuming all participants have basic instructor skills already).
